How did you get started doing this type of work?

My father and grandfather both worked in residential home construction so I grew up around it. I started working with Alviar Home Remodeling in San Diego in 1990. We did a lot of room additions and remodeling work which gave me a great background in working with home owners to achieve their goals in improving their properties. We did demolition and new construction in many cases while people where still living in their homes as we worked with them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have worked in the construction business on and off for 35 years. In 2000 my father, grandfather and I built the house I live in now and an additional commercial building on my property in 2010. I have received many years of experience working in remodeling and new construction.

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

I like to meet with my clients in person, if possible to establish positive working rapport. It is important to understand my clients needs and to make sure I can provide the service they are expecting in a time frame that works. My goal is to work together to create a successful completion of the project ensuring client satisfaction and future referrals.
